The Tower of the University of Wizardry is guarded by an unusually large and intelligent Wyvern. Where most of these creatures are savage brutes, this being is cunning, tactical, and stealthier than its size would suggest. I perches on roofs and walls, uses is flight to its advantage, dropping foes to the ground or using poison to fell them; targeting spellcasters and technology-users first, and dropping masonry when it needs distance. It also seems unusually resistant to magic, perhaps due to wards placed upon it by the Wizards themselves.

The wyvern can also pick up large objects (carts, rocks, etc.) this way and drop them on opponents the next round.
